2011 March Break Workshop will be held March 11-14 at the Gaelic College.  For information and to pre-register, please visit the website at www.gaeliccollege.edu.  Come and study bagpipes, Bodhran, Cape Breton Fiddle, Cape Breton Step, Celtic Harp, Gaelic Language and Song, Highland Dance, piano accompaniment or pipeband drumming.

NORTH SHORE FIREHALL WORK DAY  Feb.  11..11am.

 

North Shore Kitchen Party: Informal acoustic jam session at the Gaelic Singers Hall in Breton Cove, Saturdays February 12 and 26, from 2-5 pm. Players and singers of all levels are welcome, or just come to listen and enjoy refreshments with your neighbours.

Lunch served, Saturday February 12, 12 noon, St. Ann's Bay United Church, Soup, Chili, Biscuits, rolls and dessert, tea and coffee. $7.00 per person, children under 5 free.

 

Fire Department Valentine's Day Supper & Live Auction  - February 12, 2011 at 6:00PM. Salmon Dinner $20.00; Chicken Dinner $15.00. Prices include main course, dessert and tea or coffee. Tickets available from David MacInnis (929-2061) or Andy Watt (929-2243). The auction is the St Ann’s Bay Community Health Centre’s annual fundraiser.

North Shore & District Volunteer Fire Dept. supper Feb. 23rd.  5pm with AGM to follow. A good attendance by firemen would be appreciated.

Feb 26th. 10am. Meet at Jitka’s – Singing Pebbles in Wreck Cove. Challenging walk - bring snow shoes and walking poles. Dogs welcome if they are safe off a leash.
