Gaelic College Wednesday Night Ceilidh Series. To be held - July 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th - 7:00PM - World Class instructors will entertain you as a they present a Traditional Ceilidh. Includes Gaelic song, pipes, fiddle, piano, dance and more. All proceeds will go towards scholarships for students to attend classes. $8.00 regular admission, $4.00 for children under 12.


Nia comes to St Ann's Bay Community. Nia is a fitness program that incorporates the movements, concepts and philosophies from traditions of martial arts, dance arts and the healing arts.  Simple and energizing movements to music bring many benefits including cardio vascular fitness, increased strength and flexibility of joints and muscles and improvement in balance and agility.  It is a fitness practice that is pleasurable and joyful rather than effortful, painful and boring. Come and experience the Joy of Movement with Nia instructor Carol Kennedy (Nia White Belt June 2010) July and August every Wednesday 7 pm at North River Hall.  Please bring a yoga matt or equivalent.  Dress for comfort. Gaelic College, Great Hall - Pane in Glass - Thursday, July 8th - 6:00PM. Guests will enjoy a dinner of steak and lobster, a special performance by Gaelic College Students and an auction. The Pane in the Glass is a unique and wonderful collection made possible by a number of talented artists who contributed their artwork to the Gaelic College. Tickets are available $50.00 per person. Proceeds from the ticket sales and auction will go towards a new dedicated exhibit space and classrooms for the College.
